HANDS ON DECK

It is sad and heartbreaking to hear our leaders and politicians playing the game of personality rather than the main issues and the problems we Ghanaians face every day. We actually waste time on issues that will not bring any development to our dear nation.
Just recently it was announced in the various media houses that the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo was ignored at the Fetu-afahye festival which was celebrated at cape coast. The report indicated that he was over shadowed by the presidency who was also at the durbar grounds.
Cape Coast or the Central regional executives of the New Patriotic Party came out to indicate their displeasure about the whole incidence and condemned the organizers of the festival. Immediately, the Deputy Coordinator of the National Youth Council, Prince Derrick Adjei said Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo may not have been acknowledged during the Oguaa Afahye festival by President J.E.A. Mills because he was probably drowned in the crowd owing to his height and stature.
I see all this comment as unnecessary because they won't solve the water problems and energy problems that we face in our various houses, furthermore it will not solve the bad educational system that our senior high schools are facing now. Let’s stop the game of politics, insult and personal attacks focus on developmental issues. Ghana as a country should not be wasting time on such issue; we are yet to achieve so many things.
There is a popular saying that “time and tide wait for no man” so let’s use our time wisely.
